I was so hesitant to read "#GirlBoss" by Sophia Amoruso because I felt like it was one of those books that everyone reads because everyone says to read it. I can't lie, I thought that "#Girlboss" was one of those things that was overhyped because of the title and the fact that the author of the book is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Nasty Gal. I also can't lie about how wrong I was about this book and I'm happy that I read it. lol
"#GirlBoss" is not just one of those motivational books that gets you excited about the possibilities of starting your own business. It actually motivates you by following the story of Sophia Amoruso and how she went from a weird, college dropout to starting her own company, Nasty Gal. In case you're completely out of the loop, Nasty Gal is one of the fastest-growing retailers in the world, selling vintage and modern day apparel. Might I add that Sophia Amoruso started out selling vintage clothing on Ebay, how's that for non-traditonal. I like #Girlboss because it proves that you can go from nothing to owning a multimillion dollar company by being persistent and working hard.
